This week started pretty outrageous. When I arrived at school, I felt the same think every normal week. But something happened this Monday that made my whole week different.
This Monday normally. But when we knew that there are many teachers of us were not here, I said to myself that I should go home and get my laptop so we could do something to remove our boredom. When it was time for me to plug the switch of my laptop to the outlet, the outlet started to spark and produce smoke! Waaaa..!! What did I do! After I think 1 minute, the power was out in our room. I tried asking our neighbor section if they have electricity but they said, they don't have. When my classmates went down and asked the N and F if they have, they said that they have!! Whoa!! Nervous breakdown!! I tried reporting it to my teacher and they asked me to call the Faculty to try to look at what happened. When they said that the main switch was the one affected, I suddenly felt nervous. When they said that it will cost us 500 to fix it, of course many the reacted. We contributed 20 pesos each but some were not able to pay so I said that I will just pay for it now. If they have the money already, they could pay me anytime they want. Then, when it was I think 3:30 PM, they started to fix it. And Voila! We have electricity again!! What a relief! I thought that we'll suffer for a longer time! And if that happen, of course, arguments will arise between me and the other section and the 4th years! But then, it is fix and now I'm so happy!!
This is it!! It's time for the District meet!
Thursday was the scheduled District meet of Maragondon and I'm one of the players to represent our school. When I arrived at school, you could see the hard work of all the students involved in this occasion. When the other schools' players were coming in, the program started. After sometime, the District meet is finally open!! The venue of the Badminton games was at Maragondon National High School so we met at one place near the former Guidance Office and eventually we left the school. While we're walking, I felt nervous about my match this day. I know that I have a little chance of winning because this is my first time to compete with other school since First Year High School. But then, I just said to myself that I am just going to play my upcoming match.
When we finally arrived at the venue, I became more nervous. When they call on the players of the First match(Single A Boys), I was not in myself that time. I just watched them play while waiting for my turn to get myself on that court. We lost in the first game, as expected. They were really good!! It made my hope of winning even lesser. When they finally called the players of the next match, I stepped up and went to the court. While we're warming up, I could say that my opponent was really good. I managed to catch his shots at the warm-up. When our game finally started, sweat poured down on my face. Our game started. Can't remember the full details of our fight but I could say that I still put a great fight. Our game ended with me losing to the score of 11 - 8 and 11 - 6. It was still ok because I already accepeted to myslef that I'm really going to lose in this match. Well, that's life!! I lost once again but next time I'm going to win!! Good luck to me next year!! Nyahahahaha!!!
