At last, after 2 years of being a Math club member, Math club or also known as Calgeotrist Club of CNSHS, had their first Festival! The Math Festival!
A whole day-long activities were done last November 21. That festival was postponed for once already but now, it's officially done! Activities in the Math festival includes a Math quiz bee, Rubik's Cube contest, Tower of Hanoi contest and Math trail.
In this festival, I, together with Zyrex and Cez, was chosen to represent our section in the Group Quiz bee. In the elimination round, where all the sections from CNSHS were competing, only 10 sections were chosen... and we're lucky to be one of them! We were so happy when we heard our section's name being called as one of the Top 10! Woohoo! Except for that, our bath prove all of the students that we are really one heck of a batch because all of the Junior sections were included in the Finals! Yeah! Go Juniors! Nyahaha~
After waiting, the finals of the quiz bee will start. Of course, all 3 of us were nervous because it's our first time to compete with all the other students, including the Seniors in a Math quiz bee. After answering all the questions (which are really very hard!), we were on the 8th place. Though we're not the 1st placers, it's ok for us because it's really an acvhievement to be included in the Top 10 finalist. :D (Btw, 4N is the champion of this contest)
ALl the other activities were done as well and all I can say is that this Math Fest had been a successs. Though it's the firs tmajor festival of the Clageotrist club, we had proven that Math club is still an active club of CNSHS. Above all of that, we had shown our co-students that MATH RULES! (I Lab Math!! <33)
